{"id":15723,"date":"2024-07-17T11:26:27","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T10:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/?p=15723"},"modified":"2024-07-17T11:34:20","modified_gmt":"2024-07-17T10:34:20","slug":"pkbwl-interim-report-accident-cessna-grand-caravan-208b-sp-waw-chrcynno-epnc-17-07-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/en\/highlighted\/pkbwl-interim-report-accident-cessna-grand-caravan-208b-sp-waw-chrcynno-epnc-17-07-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"PKBWL Interim statement \u2013 Accident, Cessna Grand Caravan 208B (SP-WAW), Chrcynno (EPNC), 17\/07\/2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"560\" src=\"https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/SP-WAW-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15724\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/SP-WAW-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/SP-WAW-1-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pkbwl.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/SP-WAW-1-768x420.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In connection with the accident investigation, the following tests, research and expertise were conducted on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>technical and operational documentation of the aircraft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aircraft user documentation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>operational documentation of the aerodrome;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technical issues of the aircraft and the wreck condition after the incident;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>course of the collision with terrain and the aerodrome infrastructure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>damage of the aerodrome infrastructure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>crew issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>photos and video recordings indicating the aircraft position during and after the accident;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>injuries to victims and injured persons, survival factors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rescue and fire-fighting actions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air Traffic Service operational issues.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the investigation, SCAAI asked an aviation meteorology expert to perform an analysis of atmospheric conditions in the area of EPNC aerodrome during the accident on 17<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;July 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the analysis carried out so far and the collected materials, the Investigation Team is still conducting investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the occurrence.
