In connection with the accident investigation, the following tests, research and expertise were conducted on:
- technical and operational documentation of the aircraft.
- aircraft user documentation;
- operational documentation of the aerodrome;
- technical issues of the aircraft and the wreck condition after the incident;
- course of the collision with terrain and the aerodrome infrastructure;
- damage of the aerodrome infrastructure;
- crew issues;
- photos and video recordings indicating the aircraft position during and after the accident;
- injuries to victims and injured persons, survival factors;
- rescue and fire-fighting actions;
- Air Traffic Service operational issues.
Within the investigation, SCAAI asked an aviation meteorology expert to perform an analysis of atmospheric conditions in the area of EPNC aerodrome during the accident on 17th July 2023.
Based on the analysis carried out so far and the collected materials, the Investigation Team is still conducting investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the occurrence. Detailed information on this matter will be included in the Final Report.
